OpenFOAM Installation
- Download the latest installation file from http://bluecfd.github.io/Core/Downloads/
- Run the installation file and follow the below steps
- Browse to define where you want to install the openFoam/blueCFD-Core software, and then press Next

Choose Full
Installation
- Press the Next button to continue the installation
- It is recommended to checked all the available checkboxes in the below page
However, if you find out that the last two options are disabled (like the below image),
then it is recommended to cancel the installation, and try to install with an administrative right (right click on the installation file and choose Run as administrative).
- If in the last step all the checkboxes were enabled and checked, then press the Install button to start installing the program.

It can take a while, so please be patient.

When the blueCFD-Core
installation is finished, if you checked the MS MPI, then the MS MPI
installation page will be popped up in the screen. So, please follow the below
steps.

Press the Install
button to start installing the program.

Press the Finish
button to close MS MPI installation page.

Finally,
press the Finish button to close blueCFD-Core installation page.
To check if openFoam/blueCFD-Core is installed correctly or not, please follow
the below steps
- Go to Windows Start menu, find the blueCFD-Core 2017 folder and then double click on blueCFD-Core terminal

For the first
time when pressing on the blueCFD-Core
terminal, and opening the mingw-w64 terminal,
if you see any warnings that are ending with a message like the “Permission Denied”, but it is finished with “Environment is now ready” (see the image below),
it infers that the installation is right.
if you re-open the blueCFD-Core terminal, and then see something like this
, it means that
openFoam/blueCFD-Core software
are installed correctly.
